Corrections
Sometimes we might make mistakes, especially when we are piecing together pricing from places other than the vendor themselves. We fact-check ourselves as much as we can, but things move fast in this market and we would always rather hear about a problem than leave it sitting there.
If you spot an issue with anything we have published, please get in touch. It genuinely helps.
Telling us about it
Drop us an email at hello@legaltoolindex.com with the page you were looking at, the bit that is wrong, and what it should say instead. That is all we need.
If you work for one of the vendors we cover, a link to your own pricing or product page is plenty. We will not put you through a process, and we are always looking to make our guidance as accurate as possible, so this kind of feedback is really appreciated.
What happens next

Keeping track of changes
- Every page shows when we last checked it, and a correction updates that date.
- If we have changed something meaningful, like a price or a verdict, we say so on the page rather than just swapping it out and hoping nobody noticed.
- If we said we could not find a price for a tool and the vendor sends us one, we will happily publish it and say where it came from.
A few things we will not do
- We will not take down fair criticism just because a vendor would prefer we did. Every tool we cover has something it is not good at, and a review with no downsides is not really a review.
- We will not add a tool to a guide because someone asked us to. Placement is not for sale here and there are no affiliate links anywhere on the site.
- We will not change a score in return for anything. The scores are calculated from criteria we publish, which is part of why we do it that way.
