A contract lifecycle platform built around approvals. It routes agreements through the people who have to sign off, records who approved what, and holds the executed result with obligations attached.

What it costs

No public list price. Reported annual contracts run approximately $30,000 to $250,000, with a marketplace median near $40,000 across 363 recorded purchases.

How it scores, and where

We score a tool for the job each guide is about rather than giving it one number everywhere, so Ironclad scores differently depending on what you are trying to do. These are its actual scores on the guides it appears on. How we score.

Who it suits

Businesses where contracts stall in approvals across finance, security and legal rather than in drafting. It is the benchmarkable option at platform tier: a reported median near $40,000 a year across 363 recorded purchases is the only figure at this level grounded in transactions rather than estimates, which makes it useful in any process even if you buy something else.

Who should look elsewhere

Teams whose actual problem is reading a contract in front of them. Buying a lifecycle platform to solve a review problem is the most common and most expensive mistake in this category, and implementation runs to months with a dedicated internal owner.

Limitations

Still an implementation measured in months with an internal owner, so it shortens the configuration problem rather than removing it. Less flexible than Agiloft where requirements genuinely fall outside its model.
